The AATT (the Argentine Association of Technical-Scientific Translators) was founded in 2000. The Association is a non-governmental organization open to qualified English-Spanish technical-scientific translators from all over Argentina.

The Asociación de Intérpretes de Conferencias de la Argentina, ADICA, was founded on 2nd October 1979. Its main objective is to bring together translation as well as simultaneous and consecutive interpretation professionals from all over Argentina, to broadcast and promote the improvement and the awareness of these professions, and to benefit from an association supporting the interests of its partners and the profession's prestige.

The International Association of Professional Translators and Interpreters (IAPTI) has been created by a group of professional language mediators as a vehicle for promoting ethical practices in their profession, as a venue in which to establish a dialog, without censorship and without conflicts of interest, with the aim of promoting effective professional ethics. IAPTI is a civil association, legally established as such on September 30, 2009, in the City of Buenos Aires (Argentina), the legal registration of which is currently pending with the Office of the Argentine Inspector-General for Justice.

CTPP is a non-profit association, founded by a group of public translators who graduated from the Faculdad de Humanidades y Ciencias de la Educación de la Universidad Nacional de La Plata.
