Translators Associations Europe: United KingdomCommonly known as the United Kingdom, the United Kingdom is a sovereign state located off the north-western coast of continental Europe and governed under a constitutional monarchy and a parliamentary system.

The UK, as it is also known, includes the countries England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales. The state is governed from the capital city of London and has fourteen overseas territories.
